ActivEst is a travel company specialized in nature and active tours in the Baltic States. Our goal is to offer our clients unforgettable and unique experiences. As nature is our working field, we also try to give back and contribute to nature conservation. Read more about our conservation. Triin is a biologist. After studying at the University of Marburg and in her hometown of Tartu, she travelled to Sri Lanka to work for a wildlife conservation organization. As a tour guide and an adviser, she has collaborated with numerous travel companies such as Studiosus Reisen, Marco Polo Reisen, and Diamir, among others. Founding Aktivest gave her abundant energy, organizational skill, and passion for communication a perfect outlet. Today, she inspires colleagues in the office or hikes with our travel groups through national parks. Additionally, she is involved in several conservation projects focused on monitoring large carnivores. Her favourite hobby is observing wildlife in various countries.

Maria holds a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Tartu. Known for her high energy, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills, Maria is as enthusiastic about organizing and Excel spreadsheets as she is about making a positive impact. A dedicated animal lover, she volunteers at a local adoption centre, where she helps homeless cats find loving homes. Maria is always eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges—believing there is nothing that cannot be mastered with dedication. An avid traveller with a passion for creating meaningful experiences, she finds joy in making others happy, a goal she pursues wholeheartedly.
